Everyone is musical! All we need is 10 fingers, a voice, and a piano!

Through the Simply Music Piano program, our students will learn how to find their passion and voice in music. 

 

In Foundation 1, students will start from the very beginning by learning 10 songs in 5 different genres- classical, blues, jazz, contemporary, and traditional- without reading a single note! Simply Music is a playing-based method. This means students learn first to see songs through shapes and patterns on the piano and then begin to read music notes. It’s like learning to talk before learning to read! We’ll also start the process of experimenting with our own compositions and improvisations to help each student discover their own voice in music! So come join us to find your love of music!

                      Mondays, 10 am MST (class will be 30-                                     60 min long depending on class size)  

                       (no classes Fall Break 9/22/23-10/5/23 &                             Thanksgiving 11/20/23 - 11/24/23)

Location: Held via Zoom. Classes will be recorded.

Notes:

-Minimum registration of 4 students for class to be held, 10 maximum

- Students will need to purchase class materials, which include the Foundation 1 piano book and videos, separately. That cost is $35. A link to purchase will be provided after registration. 

-Students will participate in a recital at the end of the semester.
